Brittain Jackson

Ashtanga Yoga

Brittain specializes in guiding an Ashtanga yoga practice, which allows practitioners to explore how the style
works best for them.  Ashtanga means “eight limbs” and encompasses a yogic lifestyle. Most people identify Ashtanga as traditional Indian yoga. Like Vinyasa yoga, the Ashtanga yoga asanas (postures) synchronize breath with movement as you move through a series of postures. 

Brittain incorporates props, encourages modifying and resting where the practitioner needs, and focuses on adjustment and alignment for a safe and mindful practice. Brittain is certified through Yoga Alliance International and is excited to be joining the Resonance Restival!

About Brittain

Brittain Jackson (Washington D.C.) has been teaching yoga for 6 years. He received his certification in Israel from his teacher Aryan Vedh.  Brittain is certified through Yoga Alliance International.


Brittain is also the creator of the VillageVibesPodcast with his business partner Kayla. VVP contributes to a conversation about social awareness and justice, with a dash of pop culture and comedy. VVP is a platform to add to a dialogue that is vital to the climate of our society and country at large.
