Combining dance, martial arts and mindfulness, Nia tones your body while transforming your mind. More than just a workout, Nia is a holistic fitness practice addressing each aspect of your life - body, mind and soul.
Nia is based on the intelligent design of the body. Each workout brings mindfulness to your dance movement experience leaving you energized, mentally clear, and emotionally balanced.
DANCE INTO BEING:
Create a deeper sense of embodiment, self empowerment and self expression through the use of movement, sound and rhythm. We discover our personal styles, reclaim play and cultivate by creating music and movement together. We see and are seen by others, working with the transition from neutral to activated space. We transmit and receive. We also explore pulse, beat, and rhythm.

About Saffire
Saffire Bouchelion is a 1st Degree Black Belt Nia instructor who has been passionately practicing Nia for 19 years. He is also a professional performer, Ecstatic Dance DJ, & musician who has been featured on over 46 CD's, and has opened for several international acts, including Cheryl Crow, Crash Test Dummies, The Paul Winter Consort, and Barenaked Ladies. His embodiment and transmission of music and rhythm stir profound transformation in his students.
Saffire co-founded two experimental dance companies in 1986 and 1989, and has performed with Danelle Hellander Dance Company and Mergence Dance Theater. For seven years he was co-director of the Ecstatic Choir, five at Naropa University where he was also a musical accompanist for dance and movement classes, and taught drumming classes for the continuing education program. He has taught Drumming and Dance into Being workshops throughout the US, Europe, Mexico and Bali for the past 13 years. His greatest joy is helping to Embody the world, one Community at a time!
