Trauma Sensitive Yoga & Meditation

Living in this modern world, we are all exposed to stress & anxiety - and that has measurable effects on our health & wellness.  In addition, many of us have been exposed to traumatic events and even long-term trauma in our lives.  Those living with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder experience a range of symptoms: depression, intrusionary thoughts, avoidance, and hyper-arousal.  Trauma sensitive yoga hands us direct body & breath-centered tools to change our brain structure, rewire neural pathways and restore our nervous system to a normal, self-regulating state.  Whether you are a trauma survivor or just want tools to relax more deeply, this is a yoga journey not to miss.

About Erik

Erik is a featured teacher of Kundalini Yoga & Meditation at Mandala Yoga in Portland, OR as well at Breitenbush Hot Springs & at yoga/meditation retreats throughout the Pacific NW.  He also is a certified Warriors at Ease Yoga & Meditation Instructor focused on Trauma Sensitive Yoga for military veterans as well as anyone classified as a trauma survivor dealing with the effects of PTSD or Traumatic Brain Injury.  

Erik is co-producer of the Resonance Restival & a musician/singer-songwriter in the group OmTara.
