At its heart, OmTara is a healing music project in the US Pacific NW. Members of OmTara are Ashley Collins, Erik Blender, and Jack Inglis, with collaborating guest musicians. We play heart-opening music at festivals, concerts, kirtans, meditations, yoga classes & retreats.

We think of OmTara Music & Events as a conduit to conscious healing and growth practices.  Yoga, meditation, counseling, sound healing & music are all pathways that we explore and facilitate.

In summer 2017 - 2019 we organized the Resonance Restival.  Festivals are beautiful 3-day gatherings of yoga, meditation, movement, sound healing & healing music practices. Our goal for the Restival and all OmTara events is to bring together facilitators of conscious practices and performers of healing music to offer their gifts in an intimate, connected, inclusive & family-friendly retreat/festival environment.  When you leave an OmTara Event or Restival, you will be rejuvenated, re-inspired & reconnected to the practices that move your mind, body, and spirit.  Restival has been put on hold indefinitely as a result of the COVID pandemic, but we will return to

in-person yoga & meditation events in 2022.

We created OmTara Events in the spirit of the Buddhist deity Green Tara. She is a bodhisattva, an enlightened being & female buddha, who inhabits the earthly realm to be of service to all those who suffer, and she remains in oneness with every living thing. She conveys divine wisdom and peace through compassion in action. Through OmTara Music and OmTara Events, we express profound gratitude for all the yogic, musical and spiritual practices that assist all living beings to find and embody their true path in this life.
